Rotary is indeed changing. It is still unclear how our service to humanity will incorporate the highly valued connections between people which Rotary members enjoyed in the earlier time. However, it is evident that the mantra of hands-on-face remains the norm for Rotary. Rotary has also changed. The Rotary network helps build bonds lasting. The outbreak of the pandemic was the catalyst for us to adopt the latest technology. We've honed our methods of holding meeting online for business' whilst reintroducing the social and service aspects with a secure face-to-face setting. To build an improved future for Rotary and our members, we've tapped into opportunities created by the pandemic and our old habits. Recently, a Rotary survey revealed that around 75% were organizing business-as-usual activities. Read this article 1. Amanda Watkin is the General Secretary of Rotary Magazine.
